“Don Williams,” the best kind of country legend, is returning to the Branson stage! He’s racked up hit after hit, with more than a dozen songs grabbing the number one spot on the country charts; including, Heartbeat in the Darkness, I’m Just a Country Boy; Lord, I Hope this Day is Good; Love Is on a Roll, Some Broken Hearts Never Mend, and I Wouldn’t Want to Live if You Didn’t Love Me. His smash hit, Tulsa Time, nabbed him an Academy of Country Music Award for Single of the Year, I Believe in You earned a Grammy nomination, and the Country Music Association nominated him five times for Male Vocalist of the Year, giving him the honor in 1978. With his soft-spoken style and gentle personality, it’s hard to believe he’s the type to own the stage when he performs, but “Don Williams” does just that, and he’s been delighting audiences with his voice since the age of three.

Hearing “Don Williams” perform his hits is a special treat, but he’s not the only one who’s done so; many a big name artist has covered his fabulous music, including Billy Dean, Alison Krauss, Alan Jackson, Charley Pride, Johnny Cash, Eric Clapton, and even rock guitar god, Pete Townshend, of The Who. “Don Williams” has taken his talent to the big screen, appearing with Burt Reynolds in Smokey & The Bandit II and WW & The Dixie Dance Kings, and to the small screen, releasing country music’s first concept music video in 1973; it featured the song Come Early Morning.

If you’re looking for a wonderful country music concert that’s full of that easy-going, feel good kind of music that’ll have you humming long after the curtains close, then make your way to Branson to see the legendary ‘gentle giant’ himself, Mr. “Don Williams!”
