All Hands on Deck
“All Hands On Deck” gets ALL members of the audience up on their feet in Branson! Created by and starring veteran of the Broadway stage, Jody Madaras, this road show/radio broadcast inspired piece of music theatre pays homage to our nation as it was in 1942; a time when all stood united – proud and patriotic – and our ‘stars’ weren’t self-promoting reality show celebrities, but bigger-than-life artists like Bob Hope; performers who entertained those of us on the home front while touring abroad to prop up the spirits of our soldiers on the frontlines. With a cast of strong performers and a live nine-piece band, known as the Hollywood Victory Caravan Orchestra, this show features tight harmonies, impromptu skits, classic commercials, and 42 popular, all-American songs. You’ll be delighted to hear sing-along favorites like By the Light of the Silvery Moon, Chattanooga Choo-Choo, Don’t Sit Under the Apple Tree, Thanks for the Memory, Sentimental Journey, I’m in the Mood for Love, I’ve Got a Gal in Kalamazoo, and America the Beautiful.
Just like with real estate, certain shows know it’s all about location, location, location…what better location for a retrospective production filled with sensational live music, exceptionally talented performers, and loaded with outright patriotism? There’s no better location than Branson, of course! Get the gang together and prepare for a show that’s – as quoted in the Honolulu Star Advertiser & Mid Week – ‘one big patriotic shot in the arm for America!’ Get ready for “All Hands on Deck!”
